The Second LARES 2 and Fifth International LARES Science Workshop will be held in Rome, Italy, from May 21st to May 23rd, 2020.

Because of the spread of COVID-19 in Italy and in the world, we have to postpone the "Second LARES 2 and Fifth LARES International Science Workshop", originally planned for the 21st-23rd of May) to a later date. We apologize about that!

Hoping the future decrease in the prevalence of COVID-19, we are now tentatively planning the workshop on September 2020. We will let you know about further developments.

Some of the topics that will be discussed during the workshop will be:

Registration

We kindly ask every participant to register, whether or not it is required the registration fee. The registration does not imply the payment of any fee if the registrant will not attend the workshop.

Conference Fee

If not weaved by the conference organizing committee (such as the invited speakers), registrants should pay the registration fee by choosing one of the following options:

  1. Full conference fee: includes lunches, coffee breaks for the 3 days, social dinner and conference tours: 400 €
  2. One day conference fee: includes lunch and coffee breaks for 1 day: 150 €
  3. PhD students conference fee: includes lunches and coffee breaks for the 3 days: 300 €

(For currencies different from Euro the official change rate will be applied plus bank commissions).

On-site registration it will be possible but the conference fee can be paid only with cash and there will be extra charge of 50 € to be paid for each of the above options.

Sponsorship packages

There are three options for sponsors willing to participate to the conference

  1. Platinum sponsorship package: conference fee 5000 €. This fee includes the sponsor logo on all event publicity materials, on the poster and website of the conference, a stand in the conference area and three complimentary registrations.
  2. Gold sponsorship package: conference fee 2000 €. This fee includes the sponsor logo on all event publicity materials, on the poster and website of the conference, a poster of the company/organization in the conference area and three complimentary registrations.
  3. Silver sponsorship package: conference fee 1200 €. This fee includes the sponsor logo on all event publicity materials, on the poster and website of the conference, and three complimentary registrations.

Participants attending with Complimentary Registrations must notify the Local Organizing Committee of their accreditation in order to be added to the participants list. The Complimentary Registration covers conference entrance, coffee breaks and lunches, social dinner, conference tours.
